What Do I Bring?
Wear a hat, sun glasses, sun cream, shoes that can get wet and sun smart clothes.
We recommend long sleeved shirts and thongs.
Bring your camera if you wish.
We provide bottled water and snacks, feel free to bring other food and as there is an esky on board.
Can I keep my catch?
Yes, but we have to abide by the bag limits set by the Department of Fisheries WA, which can be found on their web site. This means the fish need to be whole and able to be measured anytime Jeff has you on charter, which means he can gut and gill for you, but not fillet the fish.
You can read about the bag limits here.
Do I need a WA Fishing Licence?
No you don’t, you are covered on charter as we have a commercial fishing tour licence.
Do you pick up from accommodation?
Yes, depending on where you are located Jeff will arrange the pick up time. If you are staying at the Broome Caravan Park or a difficult street for Jeff to drive the boat around, arrangements can be made to meet him at the Broome Visitor’s Centre.
What times are the tours?
Half day 07:00 am- 12:30pm
Full day 07:00 am- 03:30pm
Where will we be fishing?
Jeff will pick the best fishing spots- usually in Roebuck Bay or the reefs off Cable Beach.
These decisions depend on tides and weather conditions, but usually you will be informed of what is intended when you book on.
Do I need to have my mobile on the day before the charter?
Yes please, as this is the way we can contact you if there is a change in the start times or for anything else.
